flyawayhome8287 is worn out. Sleep when you're dead! Whether it's emotionally or physically, you're exhausted. Have you considered sleeping pills? I took them when I had mono, and they made everything better. wanna know your lj's moodring color? enter your user name and hit the button. ( discussion thread)

That's actually really funny.

Post the explanation of where your user name came from. Then tag four users whose explanations you would like to hear. This might as well be something to come out of hiding for...

Flyaway Home was a really cute movie that came out when I was in elementary school about a little girl (played by the same girl who later played "Rogue" in the X-Men movies) whose mother just died, so she goes to live with her father, whom she barely knows. She finds a nest of eggs after the mother goose is dead? gone? something and takes them home and keeps them in her sock drawer. The eggs all hatch and since they see her first, they assume she is their mother and they are bonded to her for life. Through the movie, the girl and the geese are inseparable. There are plenty of problems but the main one is that geese had to migrate, following their mother, within the first year of their life for it to be imprinted on them. The girl and her dad make these huge hang gliders (painted like geese) and make a cross-country trip to bring the geese to a safe place for the winter--this is actually based on a true story and it's about bonding, family, animals, adventure, and happy endings. All nice qualities, I thought.

Completely separate from that, I thought it sounded perfect for an angsty teenager who just wanted to "fly away" from my house and to some imaginary "home" where everything would be perfect and I would feel all the things I was longing for. I guess you could say I had a heart that ached for freedom. The name just always struck me as something that could mean so many different things so it's really grown with me. "8287" is a combination of boring things--my birthday and my favorite number (7). Don't even get me started on why 7.

I'm going to tag people who a)I think will actually respond and/or b)I am really curious about--but go ahead and explain anyway! I truly believe that a name says a lot about a person, especially a name that that person chooses for themself.
