Why it's dangerous to let me have a computer while watching tv...
Catching up to current tv (although I'm leaving Leverage for tomorrow, because Younger Sister and I record it at home) with Mom before we leave early in the morning to get back to San Francisco. Sheesh, I need to pack like woah. Also, I have been inundated with NCIS during this extended break and it's kind of cute. Tim/Tony forever, or Tony/Ziva UST, yespleasethankyou.
So here are the overly long (at least in the case of the second) thoughts during the 9-11pm block of CBS.
Criminal Minds: They made a big deal of Hotch "having a hard time with being back on the job"... except we barely ever saw him. Although he was sitting kind of amazingly close to Prentiss on the plane. Reid kicked butt in this episode, btw. His lighting quick deductions are pure awesome, seriously. Also, Jonathan Frakes, how have you fallen so low? Captain Picard The world is so disappointed in you!
Did anyone else think that the dolls were way too close to looking like the American Girls dolls? Also, totally yay for victims who perservere through being turned into LIVING DOLLS WTF creepy situations are the ones who make it! Usually.
So, not enough Hotch, lovely amounts of Reid, Prentiss is still pretty awesome and I think Garcia's new hair is cute (and I cracked up inside and how JJ and Emily both had a total girly moment about it on the plane, they are all so BFF).

CSI: New York: Don, I love your scarf. He seems to be more gentle with this witness... perhaps I am projecting as I just saw an old episode where he and Angell were absolutely adorable and so am all fun of Don-love.

I had this moment of total hate of Danny/Lindsey, maybe because the reviewer that I've been reading thinks it the silliest semi-contrived pairing. Don/Jess all the way! Or, you know, Don/Danny, not particular ;o) (I am firm believer in some kind of Don/Danny in the past, back when they were both BFF with Aiden. And yes, my tinhat is fitting fine, thank you.)
The actress who plays Sarah Hanson looks familiar. Why does Mac know her? Ohhhhh, she's married to DB Sweeney, got it. Thanks for the flashback, this was actually helpful.
Oh, Danny, again with the mildly silly sweaters? Can't you got back to wearing henley shirts like Don is? Ahaha, Mac and Stella are SO MARRIED. Talking about Craig and Sarah like they all go double together, it's awesome.
Ok, seriously? If one more show does the "24 hours earlier" syndrom, I am totally leaving tv. Becauser, guys, there are way more ways of telling stories than by having the gut punch followed by the lead-up to it.
(On NCIS last night, they did this and then used the entire episode to get us back there, which was a little bit disappointing.)
Thank you, CSI: NY, for only letting the backup take 20 minutes, I appreciate it. Bonus points for arresting DB Sweeney. Aw, he and Stella were BFF for 15 years? I am skeptical of him, due to the Tried and True Theory of Semi-Famous Actors.

Uh-oh, Danny's back hurts. Damn straight Danny is Lucy's favorite. Shit, if they pull a "Danny gets addicted to painkillers" storyline, I am going to be pissed. Without a Trace did it already. ER too.
DB Sweeney... the rampaging killer? That seems like out of left field, but ok. Ahaha, the table leg that fell off was kind of funny. It's kind of unfortunate that those charged to solve crime can often commit the best ones. It's why there are so many "omg Reid would be an awesome serial killer!!!!" fics. Also, Dexter.
Ok, never have a GPS, criminals. Never works out for you. Oh, thought that Craig Fargo-d the body. Bummer. Dude, he killed the dog! That is so not cool.
See, DB Sweeney, you made Stella sad! "No body, no case." I kind of love how they keep bringing this back up.
And I guess the fact that Danny lost his wallet and badge and called Lindsey so she could be upset with him will be something for next time? Can't we just let Danny be competent for once?
