I don't need to fight, to prove I'm right. I don't need to be forgiven.

Watching So You Think You Can Dance, which is lots of fun. I've slowly found myself being sucked into watching CSI: New York, which has a lot less goofiness than Miami (sorry, the over dramatics of Horatio Caine have gotten old and their plot lines are so strange) and the same good cast (if not better) than Las Vegas. I've already talked about how adorable Eddie Cahill (Detective Don Flack) is and how much I enjoy Gary Sinise.

After watching last week's episode though, I find myself hit with a plot bunny of Gary Sinise and the cool ME being BFF and roommates because of Sheldon being taken in by a broker scheme or whatever, which was way better than any other life crisis that I was imagining. Although it seemed that everyone was a little too harsh on him on the basis of no evidence. Are there other trust issues that make Flack so distrusting? It seemed odd, but worked out ok, at least.

In conclusion, glad to see that Danny the equally adorable CSI is walking around and no longer quite as paralyzed as he was, due to shenanigans in last season's finale.

I'm very excited because this week they are having a CSI TRIFECTA! of episodes, so that characters from all three are solving a crime together. Which means that Danny and Martin from Without a Trace (which had a crossover with CSI: Las Vegas that was a little bit pointless and too focused on Jack, sheesh) can totally hang out with Don and Mac and Danny (Messer) and have great New York hijinks. Yes please!

Also, I was rereading/re-editing some of my stories and I really want to muck around in the Elementary!verse sandbox again. Or fix the story bits that I wrote about it being too darn hot in many fandoms, because they're not quite perfect yet.

And! I need to sign up for Yuletide (and actually do it!), which is an obscure fandom fanfic exchange. Last year I defaulted (boo, long story) but I've done it for two years before that (as a pinch-hitter the first, and a writer AND pinch-hitter the second) and it's tons of fun to see what you can write--Bradbury fanfic!--or what you can get.

To conclude, apparently my brain has gone right past Thanksgiving and towards Christmas. Anyone have a present that they're dying for?
