Closing in on the finish line...
It's the last week of summer camp, and we're almost there! Tomorrow we have the pirate carnival (woo!) which will be kind of lamely fun, and then on Wednesday is the aquarium, Thursday the baseball game and overnight with my campers (woo?) and Friday we're done. I need to double-check that I can leave straight after camp closes because I need to get down to the Big Family Reunion (capedcrusader92, I miss you terribly and will miss you even more this weekend! Sadness.)
But tonight I think a couple counselors and junior counselors and I are going to see Mamma Mia, which will be all kinds of horrendous awesomeness. Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan, SINGING. Word.
This weekend I got to see a matinee of The Dark Knight and it was... astoundingly well acted. Heath Ledger scared the life out of me. Although part of me kind of agrees with this review, despite all the bad press it's gotten the guy. A cool mess, a hot mess. But still quite messy. And am I the only one who thinks Bale's "Batman voice" is kind of strange?
Off to work up a skit for the last day of camp with my kids, who think I'm pretty entertaining. Have a good start to your week, everybody!
