promise not to try to screw with your mind
Sorry for the multiple entries thing I've got going, mostly because if I don't "normal" update along with the teaching-filter, I'll forget. So, sort of PSA style:
* rhymester: I have birthday presents for you! When do you want them? Where? How? Why? Have you gotten Buffy tickets yet?
* This Saturday there is a book festival in Brooklyn! How cool is that? Lots of cool people are gonna be there (including the woman who wrote A Great and Terrible Beauty, Paula Fox who wrote The Slave Dancer and some other people who are cool who I've forgotten). I think I totally have to go. Anyone want to come?
* Every time I hear "Book of Love" (which Peter Gabriel covered; I would LOVE if anyone had the original and sent it to me) I almost cry. Seriously.
* I successfully made soup! I was home this weekend, and Mom supervised my creation of cauliflower soup. I had some for dinner with a bagel. Mmmmmm.
* There needs to be a cookbook entitled "Meals You Can Make When You Don't Have Time to Eat", or somesuch. Is there one? Links win at life.
