Room 405, Early Saturday Morning

Dec 06, 2014 19:54

Where had Joker been all week? His player had been lurky. He'd been in his room. With all possible avenues of squirrel-entry sealed up.

Starscream, being an airplane, had been naturally drawn to the kid who dreams of flying. There had been a mishap involving broken bones, some loud ranting about the body being defective, and then a soothing healing potion from Skyrim. Starscream had been about to leave and find a different host, but then he noticed the advanced technology in the room.

While the other ghosts roamed the island causing havoc, Starscream tore apart Joker's omnitool and luggage, and worked on using the pieces to build a device that would detect, analyze, and store the energy flowing into him from Ingvar. Clearly it wouldn't last, and even if it did, he didn't want to be stuck on this disgusting rock any longer than he had to be.

The machine still wasn't working, and Starscream was getting frustrated. Why couldn't he detect the energy he was receiving? What sort of strange force was it? Why did this body not have arm lasers he could use to shoot things when he was angry??? For the third time today, he hurled his invention across the room in frustration. "THIS IS USELESS!!!" he screamed.

Not only that, but the disgusting flesh blob he was inhabiting was losing its effectiveness and becoming even more disgusting. Starscream was going to have to actually take care of things like feeding and washing it at some point.
