Blood Sucking

....Charleston is lost on the edge of the earth. Everyone here has fallen into their idiosyncrasies. What isn't scarred by slavery and war is prefabricated. I am thirsty for life and so is everyone around me. The people around me are sucking the last bit of life out of me...
....At first one enjoys themself in the sun and next you are dromant in a state of reverie. After you become vulnerable they slowly eat away at your soul. It was fun while it lasted but now it is getting serious. It is not like this is a bad place, it is just too unproductive for anyone to really live.

On a more delightful note, Uncle Barry's Christmas party on the island was a blast. It was great eats and great champaign. Elderly drunks is not always the best, but they give you the idea that there is nothing to worry about in the world.

Presents were slim this year just how I wanted them to be. Money, clothes, and skate shoes is what I ended up with. I began to build up on another small vinyl collection:

Sods - "Minutes to Go"
Electric Light Orchestra - "OLE ELO"
George Winston - "December"
The Distractions - "Nobody's Perfect"
L'A'RM - "Pandemonium"
Yukihiro Takahashi - "Neuromantic"
The Doors - "Absolutely Live"
Sammy Davis Jr. - "I've Gotta Be Me"
James Calaway - "The Man with the Golden Flute"
Hot Chocolate - "Greatest Hits"
Windham Hill - "A Winter Soltice II"
and Theolonius Monk, Wes Montgomery, Charlie Byrd, Bill Evans and Blue Mitchell play compositions of Irving Berlin.
