God I ate SO MUCH today. I can always start the day out well, skip breakfast and have a salad sandwich for lunch...and then Mum made biscuits and I ate mixture and choc chips and a biscuit :( And now I feel so fat and sick. Were you sposed to comment twice? I can delete one for you if you like. Do you have a formal? Or maybe you have a prom...no, thats America. A formal is like our version of a prom. You have a formal in year 10 (mine's in November!!), a semi-formal in year 11 (Which is what I'm going to, my friend invited me) and then a huge formal in year 12 after HSC is over and everyone's finished school.

Ooh some people in England have proms... our school calls it a "ball" which is a load of rubbish. Exciting! My friend is over in Australia on work experience, and she's going with her cousin to a social. Do you know what that is?

A ball sounds very fancy and posh! Maybe thats why they call it that. Is your friend in Sydney? You poor thing you must miss her, its so far away from england. Is she here for long? A social....I dont know! They'll probably just go out somewhere and..uh..be social maybe? Hmmm. Is your friend our age or older?

I'm not sure where she is actually. Hmm. I miss her lots, she's there for 3 weeks. Gah! She is 4 months older than me, but one school year above. And her cousin would, were she in England, be in my year I think, and therefore the same age as you. Providing I worked that out right! xx

Oh wow. Maybe I know her cousin somehow...its a small world!! You should find out where she is...you must know what city she's gone to!? Then again I guess if my friend went to England I probably wouldnt know where she'd gone! 3 weeks isnt TOO long. Just look forward to her getting back...

I will find out where she is lol, I know she told me.... but I'm so forgetful haha. I hope her phone works so I can text her. No, 3 weeks isn't too bad, but I ve got to go on holiday on the 18th... so it'll be beginning of september before I see her again :( Ah, I'll cope! xx

Where are you going? I take it you're going with your family, do you have any brothers/sisters? I have two younger sisters, so going on family holidays is always such a pain cos they just fight all the time and they're so goddamn annoying. Who is her cousin?

ARGH I have two younger brothers, which I reckon is the worst possible thing! They are so annoying. And I don't really get on with my mother, so yeh the holiday will be a laugh. We're going to France, in the south west apparently. Not sure who her cousin is. Have texted her, but no reply as of yet xxx

Yeah, younger brothers could possibly be worse. But only just... what about your father? Hmm, unless your friend put her mobile on global roaming or something, she might not get your text. Then again if shes going for 3 weeks she probably did put it on global roaming. xxx
