One of my "alternate dream jobs" is to get involved in big-puppet street theater like that... Engineers of the Imagination (the book) got me excited about it in the '80s, but I didn't finish that theater degree or go that direction. I'm excited to see this kind of street theater going on, especially as a protest. Yes!
I didn't end up coming out to Denver today, Thursday. My bed was given away anyway to an Obama staff person. So, I'll be there tomorrow night instead. Yay. BB, aly

I'm not aware of a better word for that sort of a vehicle. And I think its use is appropriate. "Paddywagon" was originally applied to vans the English would use when rounding up discontent oppressed folks en masse. And that's what police in Denver had in mind when they brought all their vans downtown.
