....Counting down to the NORVA
I bet your wondering what the band is up to??? No… well here it goes anyway… Last Friday night we played at the Tallwood battle of the bands. The show was amazing. There were probably 900 people watching us play because every seat in the place was taken and people were standing in the back. We thought we played fairly well…we came in third place. (10:00 high 1st, Kervantas 2nd) All of the judges dug us except judge # 2, he thought we were “Cheesy” and gave us a "Cheesy" score. The other judges gave us scores of 8 or 9 in all of the categories so it’s all good in the hood. Anyway, the NORVA is 2 days away. Me (Jason) and Chris A. both bought new wireless systems for the show. I am excited. I will no longer trip over my cord or yank it out if I run around. The show should be killer. We have a lot of work to do in the next two days to get everything wrinkled out. The really good news is that we will probably sell around 150 advance tickets as a band when it is all said and done. That is a lot. We are almost sold out so get them from us now. Call me at 757.635.3622 if you want tickets…and yes I will bring them to you. So yeah, I better see you at the show…if you ever want to talk to me again =]
