I think I am actually going to restart my journal to keep up withmy evaluation year. Maybe then I can look back for advice later.
Today at school we had a teacher work day, and of course i was sitting next to the talkative people that could only make fun of everything that was going on. I know better next time, but they did vote me chairperson for special area teachers. yay! After a terrible long faculty meeting about everything under the sun. I went to lunch with those talkative teachers. I love them. We all showed how sad we were to have pictures of our pets as the background of our phones! Im not the only one. I then went back to my room and worked like a mad person to get my room ready for "Meet the Teacher Day". My room looks fantastic and Im ready. However in a fit of rage this morning to get my hair dry I completely killed my neck. I am now wearing an icy-hot patch around my neck with a scarf keeping it on. I got my package from Artsonia Today too. The stuff they sell is so cute. I want to have it out for parents to look at tomorrow, so they can buy it. I get 15% of everything they buy from the website. Butthis year they have a special deal where I get 25% for the fall, only if i send it over400 pieces of artwork. I know I can do it. I also talked the special area teachers into creating a group newsletter. We are all going to send it out once a month, but Im in charge of putting it together. We also got our key cards today for the school, I think that will really help safety issues in our school. Tomorrow we have a district breakfast at the HS. I guess thats the good thing about being in a small district. After that its meet the teacher day.. They could come to my room, if they want, but they dont have to. I might wander around the school anyway. Im even going to dress up all professional.
