Another Reason School Sucks.
So Marc is a very ticked off man. My enrollment appointment for CalStateLA Winter Quarter is today. Perfect, I remembered, and plotted out my classes and everything.
Hold it right there Marc. Now apparently there has always been a rule on the books that students must pay their registration fees BEFORE they enroll for classes. What? Huh? Not only is that an incredibly stupid rule, how the hell was I supposed to know this? I figured (as it was at GCC) that you enroll, then pay for what you enrolled in. Logical, right? Administrativa at CSULA has NEVER been logical.
Now here I sit, on hold with CSULA Enrollment services for well over an hour, trying to get ahold of someone I can speak to, because once my enrollment appointment ends, I have to wait several weeks before I can register again. Joy.
The English department at the school has noticed this stupidity as well. I called them hoping they could assist me in any way, and apparently, they too have been getting numerous calls from confused students who suddenly cannot enroll.
