ladies and gentlemen,
new york has been grand. my checking account has been dwindling accordingly. despite the fact i have a nice boy who buys me food a lot. nevertheless, i finally got a job! i had to lie to get it though, because in the interview before mine i heard the woman say they weren't hiring people for just the summer. so i lied. whatever. i'll still get paid. anyway, it's a place called the buttercup bake shop and it's midtown/nearing the upper east side. which sucks because it will never be convenient for me to get there but at least i'll be getting a sweet 8 bucks an hour with a 50 cent raise after a month if i'm never late once.. so it's one of the lowest paying jobs in manhattan. whatever. also, the woman who runs the place seems like kind of a nazi. i expressed the feeling that icing cupcakes sounded like fun and more or less she said no it's not. i also think she might be racist. also, there's a scary eunuch-boy who works there which was unnerving. also i will have to work from 4-midnight four times a week, including weekends. maybe i'll try to find a better job.
in other news, i spent $7.25 on a pack of camel lights and it was somewhat of a steal.
i'll be accepting charitable donations of cigarettes (and checks if you so desire) here:

though i'm not living there forever.. i might get a sweet deal on an apartment in williamsburg or something for a month, and i'm planning on living with elisabeth for almost a month also. which will be somewhat of a party. so i'm all over the place.
