I reached a minor milestone in my project at work, so at least I feel like I am making progress. I am aiming toward a major milestone in June. A bunch of us decided to go to dinner at an
Indian restaurant this Wednesday. Michael and I discovered this restaurant because it is near my physical therapy, and we were looking for places to eat out afterward. I was talking about it at work, so we decided to make a group outing. I think it will be a lot of fun.
I recovered from my mile walk last week and decided to do it again. I felt fine when I finished the walk, but the next day I had a sore spot where the shoe rubbed the foot, and it seems to be taking forever before that gets better. It sure is hard to toughen up my foot! I was sure my physical therapist was going to tell me I was done this week, but she didn't. I am still making some progress, and I am not where I want to be yet. She did cut me back to once a week though. Hopefully I will be able to overcome the final hurdle.
Today I played an arrangement of He is Exalted(Twyla Tharp)/Oh For a Thousand Tongues to Sing, by Stan Pethel. This is mix and match music, where they have parts for most instruments and you buy the ones you need. It sounded very nice, but is somewhat boring to play. There are about 10 pieces in the book, and they all seem like peas in a pod. We will probably do one a month, to avoid too much sameness.
A couple of days ago, this clip came up on my Friends page.

I like this so well that I downloaded the score. Hopefully I will be able to play it in a couple of weeks. We have to make up some English lyrics for it, as the lyrics are not appropriate for church.
