More bad news

Not all news is bad.
My physical therapy is still coming along. I am starting to forget that I was hurt, so it is starting to feel like I am not making much progress, but I just keep reminding myself of the things I couldn't do last month. I still have to get so I can walk down stairs normally and quit limping.
We found a yummy new Indian restaurant named Priya. It is very small, and most of the people there seem to be Indian -- always a good sign. Most of the food is vegetarian, but it is really filling because they do a good job of the complete proteins. Last night was a buffet, which we really enjoyed, because we could take a little bit of everything. One end of it was kind of like a salad bar, but it seemed to be all little spices, so I didn't know what to do with it. So I watched some of the Indian ladies to see what they did with it. There was puffed rice and crispy puff bread the size of eggs at one end. There was a bowl in front, and so they put all of the stuff in the bowl, mixed it up, and then took it to the table to serve it onto the plates. Since they saw me watching, they gave me a little bit before they went to our table. The food was pretty spicy, and my tongue is still numb today.
Tuesday was the choir rehearsal for Easter. Our choir director was very disorganized, and the rehearsal seemed to last forever. Hopefully everything will go well on Sunday, because I don't feel like we are well prepared. He has hired an alto, a tenor, and a trumpet. However, they are all high school students. He thinks of them as professionals, since we are paying them, but I think his expectations are too high.
Patti found out last Thursday that she is laid off. She is not really financially prepared for that, so we are trying to help her sort this out. She is very fearful.
