Ouch! I have an ulcer in my mouth and the dratted thing won't go away *winces*. Naturally it's on the inside of my lip and everytime I so much as smile it hurts like crazy XP I'm sloshing myhr mouthwash and raspberry leaf tea by the litre (or so it seems) but it doesn't help a bit. And the stupid thing is that my dad offered to give me some local painkiller to use on the ulcer and I forgot it *headdesk*
In other totally random news: I had a lovely weekend. Friday ended with an absolutely fabulous evening in A'dam, watching nostalgia Carpe Noctem and then going to see Funhouse in Heeren van Amstel :) Apparently I did scare some people with my dancing... o.0 *cough*
Saturday was killing, mostly because I didn't really have a lot of sleep in the two previous nights and the news that there would be no tango-dancing for the ensemble ladies didn't really make it a lot better. I'm also looking for a way to incorporate the character that I thought up into the actual show. Which is turning out to be bloody difficult! Well, 25 weeks to go, there is still time O_O
On Sunday we loaded up a few cars with various Moulin Rouge persona and made a trip to Belgium to see the carnival marquee that we're going to play the show in. Turned out to be a great afternoon with lots of silly music, drinkies and a nice dinner. The discussion on the way back prompted me to dig up my copy of The Gospel According to Mary (enligt Maria Magdalena). *laughs* As if I didn't have enough to read at the moment *wink*).
Today I rediscovered the 'House of Black' RPG and started with the financial wrap up of the Jong Wild project. Two things that were both long overdue *hides*. I still think that this financial stuff is not for me (in other words: for any follow-up production I want a treasurer who takes care of these things). I did find the receipt for a missing 70 euros so that was good...
Anyway, time for bed.
