A quick little summary...
Wow, what a weekend! Our host family took us by back roads from Pemberton (past Squamish!) to Harrison. 15 hours of driving on rutted, dusty, winding logging roads. Best road trip ever! Unfortunately my camera died at Nairn Falls, so I didn't get photos of most of it. I saw Orlando Bloom randomly on the road along Harrison lake, and we totally made eye contact. We were driving past though, so Arini didn't see him. Then the next day we were back at Harrison Lake, but at the beach this time with Ayesha, Tika, and their family. The relaxing was definitely appreciated after the bumps the day before. While we were out, Ann, our other host sister, arrived from Korea, so now our immediate family is complete. Today was way more boring... car washing, yard work, house cleaning. Arini, Maria and I made pancakes for breakfast though, including a non-dairy version, and it turned out really well.
