Pacifism

It has become fashionable in our overly conservative society to have a certain disdain, be it mild or extreme, for pacifists. I guess it's been long enough since our national humiliation in Vietnam that the concept of war has been successfully rehabilitated, and people who would counsel against it are deemed unwise or somehow disconnected from the `real world.' Yes, it seems America has overcome its squeamishness, shaken off its self-doubt, and gotten its swagger back. Once again we are the cocky kid on the block, the neighborhood bully, the macho superpower prepared to dominate the world. We have come to a place where the lessons of Vietnam have been discarded, our national memory of it buried and forgotten... there is a lot more if you are interested
i started they day a little angry and it slowly built up to me being right pissed off. i am waiting for my birth cert form sask. i paid an extra $35 for express post (same day) its been 3, so i cant get my pass port so i cant get my working visa. so i have a ticket to australia but i cant go because i cant leave the country
then ppl cant drive, the radio sucks, just getting to work pissed me off. but alas i am at work i have been here for 2 hours and im starting to feel better. i know there is no use stressing about shit you cant control but i have to, you gotta do what your good at right!? any way it only 40 days till i leave and i still cant go so hopefullty i get this shit figured out if not ill simply have to spend more money to change my plane ticket to come home VERY early. that is not an option,, i will get this done or die trying, wish me luck or give me money
