Janie watched in amusement as the kids and Sam sat intently watching the cartoons that her and Sam grew up watching as kids, they also watched Fraggle Rock, Duck tales and the likes. They sat in front of the television all day watching these old shows. She ended up joining them in the living room but not once did she interrupt their time watching tv with Sam. She knew this was a special time for them and that this did not happen all that often. The kids relished in his attention and being able to do something with him was special to them. They were lucky if this happened once a month where they could just hang out at home with dad watching cartoons and making up their own story lines to go along with these cartoons, and then they would act them out. The kids were growing up quickly and Sam was always working so there wasn't much time for quality family time. They had their quality time as well, but usually after the kids were in bed. She got the camera out after a while and started snapping pictures of them with their father and each other. She wanted them to be able to remember this day for ever.
