My attempt at giving up caffeine in order to stem the tide of recurrent withdrawal headaches has backfired spectacularly! I am now ingesting tea leaves directly.

That's about half the batch I made with this recipe. The other half only lasted ten minutes out of the oven. They were super easy to make and I already had all the ingredients on hand, so I figured, why not? Besides the withdrawal headaches. Hey, I'm going to England soon; now is not the time to give up tea.

Other tips: I don't have a food processor, but luckily the tea I was going to be using was Twining's, which some people in the comments said was already fine enough, and they were right. Other people talked about reducing the amount of butter, but I used the 1/2 cup called for in the recipe and it was perfect. Possibly some of mine evaporated during the full minute it spent in the microwave.

While I'm at it, here's the chocolate chip cheeseball recipe that was a huge hit with my book club. One person said it was "pretty much the best thing [she had] ever eaten." Per the suggestions in the comments, I increased the powdered sugar to 1 cup, made sure to use cream cheese instead of neufchatel cheese, and softened the butter on the counter rather than in the microwave. A lot of people also said that using chocolate graham crackers was the way to go, but I prefer regular ones and I'm glad I went that way; the cheeseball was sweet enough as it was.
