I am becoming unhinged
So you know how apparently I just can't stop thinking about and looking at people's lapels, because it's like my life now or something? Well, I went over to Court Records just now to use it in an online discussion for another class, and while I was there, I thought I'd look through the sprites, just to see where all the peaked lapels were.
Holy shit, just look at this list:
-Redd White!
-the Bellboy
-Turner Grey
-Shelly de Killer
-KRISTOPH GAVIN
...Kristoph Gavin, y'all. KRISTOPH GAVIN. Hell, I could just conclude all my arguments for anything ever (holy crap I first typed "evil" instead of "ever" wtf brain) by supporting them with Kristoph Gavin. Just to remind everybody, Kristoph Gavin is pretty much the Ace Attorney equivalent of Snidely Whiplash. However, whereas I am unable to find a clear image of Snidely Whiplash's lapels, I have only to look at Kristoph Gavin's page on Court Records to see that there are many clear images of his. All of them, really. Well, except for like this one, I guess, but by the time you see it in the game you pretty much know what his deal is.
There were none in AAI. But you know what? I bet you a million dollars that if Palaeno had been guilty, his vest lapels would have been peaked. A million dollars, no lie.
EDIT: Wait, actually, there totally were some in AAI! Jacques Portsman, guys, Jacques Portsman has peaked lapels! This does absolutely nothing to detract from my argument.
Arrrrrgh the more I think about this the more I feel like I have to say on the matter, but it's late and I need to make this discussion post and then go to bed. So!
