real update
so after two weeks of hell (a week of just music then a week of just art... which is fun stuff, but i lost so much sleep and was so stressed out with school and that's why it was hell).... so yes, after two weeks of hell, my body decided to fall apart on me in many ways
i lost weight somehow even though i continue to eat (then again, my body's been screwing up on me lately with this stress)
so after discovering this morning that i lost more weight than i thought (meaning most of my pants are too big) i went shopping with my mom this evening
oddly enough, i only bought one pair of pants but it was fun. i hadnt shopped in ages!
i am looking forward to sleeping in. much needed sleep will occur this weekend.
i didnt do anything for halloween. that friday, i went to the mandeville vs northshore high game at northshore. mandeville dressed up again in costumes and they sounded incredibly awesome! the drum major and flute section were pirates, trumpets were monks, clarinets appeared to be elves (and yes, they had boys dressed up as elves, too... ), alto saxes were old men, tenors were mexicans, the bari sax was austin powers, i dont know what french horns or tubas or drummers were, trombones were pimps, flag team was tinkerbell and dance team was black cats
for half time they played night on bald mountain and monster mash while one of the trombonists sang the lyrics... it was awesome! but it wasnt as awesome as when i was a senior because first off, each section also had a coordinating dance, the game was on halloween, skyler sang the moster mash and forgot the lyrics, the flags were devils and ran around the field stabbing people, and i spun a broom (instead of a mace) for my salute! hell yeah!
so i mainly hung around with northshore and during fourth quarter i visted mandeville and got to conduct the band again. i really miss those days!
i had two concerts last week so that was rough and for both concerts, i had some exposed piccolo parts so that was nerve wrecking
i had quite a few paintings to complete in the past two weeks and somehow i did it
dominick and i are still dating. we have our ups and downs (like last weekend...) but i know things have been rough for both of us so that's probably why we've been having some downs
ok... back to getting stuff done!!!!
