So, our band played at the elementary school today. The kids were amazing. They freaked out at the tubas, and bassoons, and especially the percussion.
Ms. Roland told them to raise their hands when they heard a song they knew.
Of course, aboud 5 kids apparently knew the entirity of Symphonic Dance No. 3, by Clifton Williams.
And, I was amazed at how many of them had seen LotR. I wasn't allowed to see that until late middle school. What the crap?
