Happy Birthday Michelle Barton and
Kevin Howlett!
yay!
Thursday
-sucked beyond belief.
I'm so behind on the Comp Sci project that it's not even funny. Plus we've got this stupid quiz we had to take before friday.
So, I go in before school. And fall UP the stairs in the process. Bloody hell
Take that stupid quiz, get a 12 out of 17 on that. That's never happened to me in Comp Sci. Ever.
But, we're allowed to take it 2 more times.
But I'm out of time, and have to go to 1st hour.
1st hour - sit through incredibly long presentations on boring math stuff. And of course, Dan and I get shafted out of going that day. So, we go on friday.
2nd hour- stupid pointless meeting for the senior awards night. Severe waste of time.
3rd hour- GET SHAFTED OUT OF PRECIOUS PROGRAMMING TIME TO GO SIGN YEARBOOKS. Good news- got quite a majority of people to sign today.
Lunch- Skipped lunch to take that stupid quiz 2 more times. Highest score - 14 out of 17. Severe waste of lunch.
4th hour- Good hour. Burdick just let us sign yearbooks all hour. He's awesome.
5th hour- Frickin' graduation stuff. Blah.
6th hour- Frantic scramble to turn in short story. Greg and I confided in each other with regards to our sucky days.
After school - chilled in the band room, signed yearbooks like mad.
I'm supposed to be thinking about senior graduation stuff. But all I can think about is programming, and how I have no time.
Friday
-NHS meeting. Blah.
-1st hour -Presentate.
-2nd hour- Played Balderdash with the Grand Master Champion - Jeff. As of right now, we are quite possibly in the lead.
-3rd hour- Programmed like mad. Got Visual Basic from Josh* (more about that later.) Tried to bring program home on flashdrive(s), but it was being a bugger again. Missed half of lunch to do that.
-4th hour- Pizza. Talked the whole time.
-5th hour- Frickin' graduation stuff. Blah.
-6th hour- Realized that all of my independent writes have absolutely nothing to do with any poem or short story I've done all year. Apparently they were supposed to. So now, I've got to pull 5 relevant writes out of nowhere. Great.
*Get home, try to put Visual basic on the computer, it goes, but when you try to open it, is says "Undefined error! Quitting." and never opens. Bloody hell.
So, I spend an hour and a half, practically in tears, trying to find a working model edition of VB 6 online, but that's nonexistent. Gah. I start looking for a store around here that has VB 6, but they're all like $200. There are no books around here that have VB 6 in them. You have to order them.
It occurs to me that Mr. Conwell said you could use VB 5 too. Thank God there is a working model version of VB 5 online for free. Because otherwise, I'd be going absolutely insane. For serious.
Pistons won. Yay.
5 days 'til P-rom.
Oh. Em. Gee.
