Fall

September 28th, 2007. The first day real day of autumn. I know this, because there are fragrant yellow leaves stuck to the pavement, glazed over by students' footsteps through the wet spots. And I'm okay with it being sixty degrees. Until the temperatures freeze my face, I will be content with nature.

I gave my demonstration today in Human Factors, the one about the functional limitations of my alarm clock. I took an excessive amount of pictures. In fact, there were more pictures that I slapped on the slide at the end than actual necessary visual aids for the presentation. Here is one.

In my opinion, they were all very funny, but evidently the class just thought I was weird. They might be secretly jealous of my strange and quirky personality; at least that's what my apparently warped perception might lead me to believe. Who else would "embarrass" themselves in a graded powerpoint presentation?

On a personal note, I've decided that I want to go on dates. At this stage, it may or may not be futile to plant the seeds of a relationship; but I would just love to meet new people. I miss the excitement of dressing up nicely and being anxious and sharing all those basic personal details. There's too much mischievous spunk and earnestness inside me to kept away from so many people. Somewhere out there, there's a guy dying to meet a girl like me. And I'm so ready to give him a run for his money. Watch out!
