It's been awhile...
Here are the highlights of the last month or so:
Road tripped to New Orleans for the Louisiana Philharmonic audition with Elise. Didn't advance, but New Orleans was great and we had a super fun time.
Saw this band The Chap at Schuba's with Andy and some other people - they were hilarious and awesome.
Ran into my friend Daniel and my old orchestra conductor from UNI at the Civic concert... the UNI orchestra toured Chicago and they all went to the concert.
Went to South Bend and played with the orchestra and their woodwind quintet and for this Irish Tenors gig.
Went home to Iowa for a couple days and got to meet my mom's kindergarten class and had fun at Grandma's house with the cousins.
Had another successful Classical Revolution show at Phyllis' Musical Inn.
Went on a date with a guy I met online last night... we saw Daniel Martin Moore and Eleni Mandell at Schuba's and had dinner beforehand at the Harmony Grill. It was awesome, and I'm hoping to do something again with him soon!
