{Memento} Puddles of Memories
Ah, it was so rainy today.
...I remembered some things as I watched the drops fall down from the sky out my now-higher-up window. Another rainy day I once opened my eyes to. I was standing in front of a rather large house as rain poured over my long, heavy, hooded coat. There was someone I had come there seeking, a woman with long black hair standing before me whose presence was so commanding that the very rain seemed not to cling to her alone. I called her the "Time-Space Witch." There was... a wish I had, and I knew this woman could grant it.
"My home world is the place I do not want to be," is what I told her.

Sakura-chan, you were there as well, being taken care of by a person whose face I cannot remember. That person had a wish as well. "To go to many worlds in order to restore the memory of this child." That's what the Time-Space Witch said.
No wish comes without a price, and both of our wishes were too expensive for us to pay individually. But, she told us, if we paid together, we could afford it. My price was a... marking. It had been on my back. I tried to offer up a staff I remember using for magic, but she said it had to be my most valuable possession. She took this image that had been inscribed on my body.
The price of the other person there... was clearly something very dear.
It seems as though only two people paying is a little cheap... I'm puzzled...
For our payment, we were given Mokona, who was able to grant our wishes by moving us from world to world. Mokona, you sprouted wings, opened your mouth in-creeedibly wide and pulled all of us in and we were off! It was really amazing!
"There is no coincidence in the world. What is there is 'Hitsuzen.' And what brought you together was also 'Hitsuzen.'" The words of the Time-Space Witch again. Hitsuzen?

Kimihiro, I noted something that might be of interest to you in this recollection. You don't happen to remember the impressive woman I described, do you? I remembered seeing you there, and you seemed to be assisting her by fetching the Mokona.
