I had a very enjoyable time at the hot spring for my first visit. My sincere compliments to the staff for the wonderful party and the hospitable stay. I saw many of you there and I am glad that you all enjoyed yourselves (especially you, Sakura and you, Mokona).

It seems so. ^.^ I have been able to try a few different things in the past few days. I had not bothered trying before because of how ... uncomfortable it was to eat food before I realized I needed to ingest blood.

I am. However, it appears I am not really a "standard" one. ^.^;

Hmm, well, as I said, I require blood as the base of my diet. I must drink from a particular person every couple of days or so. It appears I can live solely off the blood itself, though I can eat and drink other things if I have had blood first.

I seem to have enhanced speed and vision, *tilts his head to show off his eye, which has gone slitted* and advanced healing abilities. And then there are these ... *flicks out his nails* I tend to use these when drinking blood. I do not have fangs as I have seen in some books.

I have tried animal blood and the blood of another person and both were unpalatable. ^.^;

Something like that. For lack of a better term, they did not "taste" right.

Feeling...? *that question hadn't been expected either* Hmm ... well, I do get hungry for it and it is satisfying to do so. Ah, an interesting part is that I can "feel" the heartbeat through the flow of the blood. Something like that. ^.^

*considers* I will admit, it is thrilling in its own way. But mostly what I feel is gratitude. And perhaps, just a little adoration. ^.^

It is a natural reflex of the body to drive one to eat if they are starving. When I did not realize I needed blood when I first arrived here, I went after blood from a wound without even thinking. It was almost as though something was calling to me, irresistably. Now that I can drink regularly, I have not had that problem again.
