{Memento} An Unfortunate Sacrifice
My hunting foray unfortunately did not yield the results I was hoping for. I was able to trap a rabbit, but when I tried to drink from it, the blood was bitter and brackish and so unpalatable that I almost retched. I seems that animal blood is not an acceptable substitute.
This is... discouraging but not defeating. I will continue to discover as much about myself as I can.
Not wanting the poor rabbit to go to waste, I found a fox den and left it outside. I hope it helps them in this cold weather.
