(no subject)
I didn't do much this weekend but I kinda enjoyed it.
I'm always out doing stuff late and then waking up early so I can try and cram a bunch of stuff in one day, but not this weekend. I didn't go out any night, I only left to go to Jessica's going away party. Her family is awesome, they are all so nice.
So pretty much I spent my weekend at home. But it was quite eventful. We are working on turning Jumanji into a grassy plain and it is going well. We are refinancing, I think, so we are having our house appraised, and thus we need it clean so a person can come look at it. Hopefully it will stay clean enough for me to have people over.
I spent yesterday and today cleaning our patio in the back, so I had to move eveything off of it, weed wack all the little plants that were growing up in between the bricks, sweep it, then pressure wash all the extra dirt away. It was fun and easy. I also had to turn the sideyard, which looked like a blasting zone cause my dog digs holes everywhere, into a flat area. So that involved attacking the hardened dirt with a pick-axe till my hands were raw, then shoveling the dirt into holes, and raking it even.
It was good hard work. I like stuff like that, it's a good way to get it out.
Although it sounds like I had a horrible weekend at home doing chores, I enjoyed it, It was relaxing.
I put my cell phone down in my room and didnt look at it for hours, didn't worry about people contacting me or anything.
It made the weekend go by really fast however. I don't want to go back to work tomorrow, I wanna go to Disneyland with Brian and Jessica, then possibly see Mew.
I also would like to go surfing more, would anyone like to join me?
I don't care if the conditions are crap, it's fun just being out there with friends.
Maybe we could teach Jeff and then HD could all go surfing together.
