"Don’t laugh at me, Lor," said Amy savagely, glaring daggers at Loren who was standing in front of her.
"I can’t help it," said Loren, biting his lip to keep from laughing, tears flooding his eyes. "You look hilarious."
"I’ll spit in your drink," said Amy seriously and Loren sobered slowly.
"How did you get roped into this?" asked Loren, shaking his head in amazement.
"I need cash," said Amy with a sigh.
"I can’t come here while you’re working here. It seems cruel."
"I would have thought you’d be all over the idea of humiliating me in public," deadpanned Amy, leaning forward on the counter.
"Nah, only when your parents are around," Amy smirked and looked around Loren.
"People will start filing in soon, Loren," warned Amy standing up strait and shoving a paper hat on her head. Loren shrugged and moved out of the way as an elderly couple approached them.
"Hi, welcome to Burger King. What do you want?"
"You’re so polite, Amy," snipped Loren, receiving a smack across the back of the head from Amy.
God she hated working here….
