Ever heard of the hungry ghost festival?

The Hungry Ghost Festival falls on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month (12 August in 2022), with Ghost Month running from 29 July to 26 August this year.

i even joked that i will do all of the things to avoid during ghost month 🤣🤣🤣

i was too scared to post it last night, so here it goes...

it wasn't the first time i went night swimming, i even stayed and sleep on the beach until past midnight.

last night around 7:25pm, it was getting dark but with enough light to see your arms underwater. i kept feeling some sort of ropes on my feet whenever i touch the seabed (i never swim above my head at beach even during the day) at first i thought it was jelly fish or seaweed.

then suddenly (when my head was underwater) a mop like hair passed by my face and what appears to be a head of a human lady was swimming beside me.

i tired to ignore it at first, but the strings of hair kept bothering my arms and legs while swimming. i scared the shit out of me 😱😱😱

so i hurriedly pack up and leave. lucky me i have charms with me, one bracelet and phone charm that i bought from chinese temple and nunnery each.

maybe i should get another one that i can pin in my swimsuit or googles 🤔🤔🤔

night swimming, hungry ghost
