I've just realised I have developed a couple more pet hates recently.....
1 People who write "alot" rather than the grammatically correct "a lot". Grrr.
2 As above with the grammar issue, "phantom apostrophe syndrome" (as I have named it) as seen in; tomatoe's and sandwich's. Get a dictionary.
3 Bloody Burberry, god dammit. Even my Nan has rejected her sacred Burberry patterned shopping trolley. Do these pikeys not realise it was once the coveted fabric of choice for the over 65s!?
4 Flu, because I am suffering at the hands of it.
5 Beige, just because it's so bland and non-descript. Also, because it's the staple colour for Burberry, see Item 3 above.
6 Cubase. I am not stupid (shut up at the back) but I am still unable to grasp how the buggery bollocks it works. Stupid man-program. I will get it even if it kills me in the process. I may be gone some time!
7 Scott going on a surfing holiday. Yes, the sight of him in a wetsuit is pure comedy (actually, the sight of anyone in a wetsuit) but I am being abandoned for 6 days.
8 The girls (and I say girls for they are about 6 years old), who think they are better than me because they can type faster. They can type faster (whoopy doo) but have no clue about the file they're preparing...dumb bints!
