Haha, I just looked over my post from France and realized that it was typo-tastic. Whatever.
Now that I have France slightly out of my lj system (I'm sure it will return with a vengeance), I shall post about more recent occurings (maybe).
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was hilarious. I went to go see it with Annie and Peter, and we were all cracking up. Yea for Johnny Depp! I started noticing his eyes in all the close-ups, and became curious about his contacts (which I could actually see in the close-ups) that gave him blue eyes, while his child self had brown eyes. hmm... This led to a long dicussion about how candy and his factory had changed him physically. Which somehow led to Lance Armstrong? go figure.
different subject: I am a little screwed in the Yale courses department. I apparently have to preregister for English and chemistry in the next 3 days and have no idea where to begin with this. Do I need to take a course in each? Which course should that be? Major freaking out is occuring.
Also, my friend recently told me that she broke up with her boyfriend because he cheated on her twice. I genuinely feel sorry for her, and she was rather upset, but I didn't know what to say or do. I'm not a very good comforting friend, and what good is a friend who can't be there for you when things aren't going well? And she's such a nice person to me... ah! I'm such an idiot. "Sorry, it's not your fault, get some rest..." I think I would hate me. ok, that's enough ranting for now
