6 more months

Vacation officially ends on Tuesday, and I will be beginning what I sincerely hope is my last semester of school ever. There's nothing wrong with thraining your brain, or learning something new, but I want to be done chasing little pieces of paper. Now that I take stock of this little seminar-free time frame I can report the following accomplishments
1) I am financially stabilized 2) I made some new friends 3) I went out a lot 4) I salvaged my teaching internship 5) I did dishes at least twice
On the embarassing end, I still haven't finished my papers, I still haven't started saving for the trip I keep on whining about wanting to go on, and I'm still hung up on the same romantic interest that has been steadily breaking my heart for 4 months. When will I learn?
Spring is making a few appearances here and there. I think we may have made it above ten degrees celcius a couple of times now, and if we're lucky there won't be too much more snow. The chestnut tree in my building's courtyard has finally started to bloom, and I can regularly hear birds chirping. Also it is still light at 6:30 pm. All good signs.
