This is what happens when I'm bored. I upload my old works. XD These actually aren't that old, since I really got into arranging/transcribing this year. Let's just say they're my first two, and since I've uploaded everything I've done since then onto LJ, I figured I should do these as well. For completion's sake.
These are really for any singers out there, if they can round up a group of people to sing. They're based off of songs by the Finnish group Rajaton, six people I can only continue to admire. I was so lucky to be able to see them live last April, I was so amazed. But that's enough fangirling from me not about a boy group, GASP so your best bet is to find out about them on your own if you don't know them already.
Anyways, the six voices: soprano 1, soprano 2/mezzo-soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, bass.
As usual, the files contain an MP3 of the Finale playback and a PDF file. The Finale playbacks with vocal are even worse than piano ones, so please bear with the lifeless sounds for now.
How Little: 6-voice a capella
Download Link (MU) This one was my very first arrangement, I felt so accomplished after doing it. XD
Dobbin's Flowery Vale: 6-voice a capella
Download Link (MU) *origin: traditional Irish melody.
The first half of the song actually doesn't really seem to have a metre, but I couldn't be bothered to note that on Finale and make a mess out of it, so it's (poorly) stuck into 4/4. Just use the sheet music for notes and when to change chords together for that part, trying to count it is useless.
If you've downloaded these, DO tell me, because then we should talk and become good friends. :D I love Rajaton's work. I hope our little group at school can actually sing these, because it will make me insanely happy (one reason I'm looking forward to this school year!).
