First things first: Yay Harry Potter!!!
Let's see... house news. I had the inspection yesterday, and it went pretty well. The shingles are nearing the end of their useful life, and most likely will have to be replaced in the next 2-5 years. The water tank is older, too. About 60% of the wiring is updated, but the other 40% is knob and tube. The house was treated for termites in December, but an older technique (drilling, filling with chemicals, and then cover over the plug) was used. Other than that, it looked pretty good.
I asked the inspector (because I was nervous about the findings) if it was a good house. He said yes, it was in very good shape. *happy dance*
I talked to the real estate agent, too, and she gave me a referral for the company who does her house and car insurance... she said that they were very good, and had great rates. So, I will have to make some calls and get some quotes. Whee.
In other news... um, nothing else is going on. I am waiting to see if one of my friends calls so that we can go and get pho tonight, because it sounds yummy and warm.
