Happy New Year!
Matt and I just got in from the New Year's Eve party at Lucas' place... it was pretty quiet this year. Craig and Allison were there for a bit, but they split shortly after we showed up, as did Perule. That left me, Matt, Lucas and Shona. We watched "The Naked Mile," which was pretty funny, and then we stood in the (drizzling) rain and kept Lucas company while he coaxed the bonfire that he was intent on having. We admired his attempt, stood around and bullshat, then when the fire died down went back inside and proceeded to play poker. :)
Shona, Matt and I also got to try a mixed drink that Lucas kept touting, smurf jizz smurf semen smurf urine smurf's up, which was Sprite and Blue Maui. It was pretty good... it got to be a little sweet for me, but Matt liked it.
We also talked about going to Virginia Beach this year, and as a group renting a place. I now have a reason to really try to stick to a resolution to drop some pounds. :) Yay!
