Mostly she just reflects on how she likes the rare moments when he's less of a very serious very old vampire, and more of a man who likes to sit with her at bars, and tell her stories of past times, times he thinks she would have enjoyed.
I don't typically have St/aroline feels - but I do have Caroline-feelings! And this is hitting a kink: Stefan + Caroline = almost as twistedly-beautiful "friendship" as D/E! <33333
They promise so much, and then death happens and her head is filled with doubts and questions and then, when she looks at the face of the man she used to love, it's no longer his face, no longer his eyes. It's not the other one's face either, it's a perverse mixture, one she can't handle.
Oh Klaroline feels! How I have them. This is so lyrical and wonderful. YOU!
Blondes when he tries to pretend it doesn't matter she chose his brother; brunettes when he just needs some reminder, because he's the guy who waits 145 years for a comet to pass, but he still fucks around in the meantime.
Damon shouldn't be allowed to exist.

Truthiness. But oh so sad. And only kind of true. They both break things and nothing is ever really fixed. If Damon rips open an old wound, that's just starting to heal, then Stefan can place an ineffectual bandaid on it. A bandaid with Superheroes or cartoon princesses that smile up at you, convincing you the wound never mattered in the first place. Life-ruiners.
You're a life ruiner. This is wonderful.

Yes, indeed. They both spend so much time trying to fix the mistakes the other makes (sometimes I think more than they try to fix their own mistakes.) they'll fight like dogs, but in the end they'll die for each other. BROTHERHOOD FEELS.

I just want MOAR Caroline in S4, tbh. She's so... trying too hard to be perfect all the time. I don't want her to crash, but I want her to have a break. OMG! I just had the most epic-thought: "While Damon hosts his required dinner-party of the season, Caroline and Stefan GO ON A ROAD TRIP!" <--- BECAUSE! Why are D/E the only ones** allowed to go on road trips????
