I love post-war stuff and how you can see the effects that is has on Hermione and how things aren't magically better just because the war is over or Voldemort is dead. There still a lot of stuff to deal with. And oh, you did it so wonderfully. I loved the first section and how the "the war is over" sounds like it should be a simple, clean-cut kind of a deal, but it isn't. Not to Hermione who's still living in the Forest, who is still living in all that fear that she felt, in that place where she fears that she'll fail everyone and it all be her fault.
And I loved the nightmares and the different people coming in, and how it didn't really matter who it was to her, just that she repeated the same thing over and over and just wished they would go away. And because they don't, she takes herself out of the equation and moves out. And of course Harry comes over and visits. Of course he does. (The Hermione/Harry shipper in me is very happy with this section. Especially the lingering kisses where he tells her to take care of herself.)
And things get worse, but then they do get better. Not magically better. Not instantly better. But better, little pieces at a time until she can begin to move on. (And move on she did. First female Minsister of Magic, hell yeah!)
I completely loved this and everything you did with the prompt. (And did I mention, I loved the repeating of the line "oh, how shocking." because I did, I so did. I love that.) Basically I love everything. You should write all the Hermione fic.
Well, it was you writing Hermione fic. I think there was very little doubt I wouldn't love it. (in general it was you writing fic.)
Your so sweet. You were the one who wrote it so perfectly. I should be nodding along with you. Which I am. (though I do like being called witty. it makes me feel all spuishy.)
IT MAKES ME HAPPY THAT YOU DID. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SNEAK THEM IN.
I may be alone in this, but I LOVE repeating lines, or when lines come around full circle. So for me, this was perfect and so not too much. Basically don't change anything. :D

all your thoughts are awesome, basically and i can just nod along and agree because you're smart and witty like that, so what else is there.
I HAD TO SNEAK IN A LITTLE HARRY/HERMIONE, OKAY. they're my babies.
I was so worried that the repeating of that line would just be WAY too much, but I'm glad you enjoyed it ;)
THANKYOU, you should prompt all the hermione fic so i can write you all the hermione fic :D
