I have a feeling that the only type of letter I'd actually feel impassioned to write would only harm the cause. E.g.:
"Dear Producer Assholes,
Kindly remember that the show you plan to produce a live action version of consists of a cast of NON-CAUCASIAN characters. Ergo, it would be inappropriate and insensitive to those cultures to place Caucasian actors in those roles. In fact, one could go so far as to say that it would be a "douchebag move."
Note that this Caucasian actor ban does NOT apply to Jason Isaacs. He is super-fantastically awesome-tastic and I would like to ride his face. I suggest that you clone him. In the event that some unseemly accident might prevent him from completing the film, the clone would be a fantastic stand-in! I would happy contribute to a "Clone Jason Isaacs" fund, provided I were able to retain the product of such an endeavor.
I have lost my train of thought and can't finish this letter properly, so please remember - DON'T BE THAT GUY."
That must be what happens to people with curly hair who shave their heads. I do think of Gaxingba's (sp?) avatar abridged series with Zuko wanting to go to the emo battle of the bands and his sad little song "Daddy Doesn't Love Me". I could be ok with a pop singer's portrayal of Zuko if he sings that song.
