Some cool songs I had kicking around...
♫
Living in the USA - Steve Miller BandAs should be apparent, I love love love Steve Miller. He is so underrated. I tell people I like Steve Miller, and they're like, oh yeah, I guess Jet Airliner is pretty cool... No, you guys. You have no idea. You really should be listening to it loud...for the full effect, the way it was intended. And I guess some people don't like turning their music way up & rocking out. Anyway, this song features harmonica, is psychedelic-bluesy and was the only one of Steve Miller's songs from his first seven albums to be a top 100 hit. The riffs in it, guys, they drive me crazy.

Iowa - Dar WilliamsI was born in Iowa City & spent the first 8 years of my life there. Its public library was the awesomest thing ever, and Iowa City was a really great place, and people laugh when I say this, but it was great. Like a community oasis in a sea of corn & blah. Anyway, as you are probably aware, my birth state is now flooding, Iowa City included. I was there when it flooded in '93...my house was like three blocks from the Iowa River, and I remember how hard it was. It really sucked... so hang in there, Iowa. This is a beautiful, bittersweet song about your lovely state <333
♫
Peaches En Regalia - Frank ZappaIf you have never heard of Frank Zappa or listened to his music, download this now. Srsly. It is a really pretty, nice, and aMaZiNg (sorry guys) instrumental piece. Definitely one of his best...I would say it's hands down my favourite, and that's saying quite a bit.
Some cross-posts / leftovers (they are still quality, yo):
♫
Beechwood Park - The ZombiesI ♥ The Zombies. AND YOU SHOULD TOO. imo fyi. This is a summery nostaltic psychedelic-pop song.
♫
My Little Demon - Fleetwood MacA good live version of this song. I grew up with The Dance so I like it a lot and this is a pretty rockin' song once it gets going.
♫
Venus - BanaramaIt's that song that was in the razor commercial, but really it is better than they made it sound D: Catchy & fun!
♫
June Gloom - The LikeApparently it sounds a lot like Eisley. I've only heard like two songs by Eisley and personally I like this one better, but I don't think that's worth much.
No need to comment; but feel free to tell me what you liked or didn't like so I better serve you :D
