Aww, that's sweet :) I love the idea of Louis being nice to Felix right after New Caprica. It makes so much sense- Louis was on the Pegasus during the occupation, so it's easier for him, and plus he's got all his own demons (or he should, not that canon ever explored them) from being on the Pegasus. ::grumbles about missed opportunities:: And you convey Felix's loss and feelings of being lost so nicely here.

Great stuff!

So *that's* where Louis got the thermos that he spilled in "Daybreak" from! :) I'd completely forgotten about the gift shop--as it appears everyone else did, except Felix--so that was a nice little tie-in, too.

This was really sweet. It's so good to see somebody just be *nice* to Felix without any agenda, and to see somebody reach out to him in this dark time.

I really enjoyed this--thanks so much!

At risk of sounding repetitive . . . aaaaaaaaw . . .

It's strange, but I can really see Felix doing this--turning an abandoned part of the ship into his own personal sanctuary. I like that he chose the gift shop; it speaks to his need for order and normalcy and a little bit of hope. I really like that he himself didn't seem to understand why.

This reminds me of a story called "Hidden Bruises" by rebelliousrose. It was pretty much the same story if you'd exchange Hoshi for Helo, and add porn. ;) This is amusing me more than it should be. But they're very different from each other on another level, of course, both lovely in their own right.

So, I like this story. It makes a lot of sense, as Mutant said in the comment above, and it's very sweet.
