Newsworthy stuff
Great news:
My Mum is finally coming home today after nearly 5 weeks in hospital. My Dad's going to pick her up in a few hours, along with half a ton of equipment the occupational therapist says she needs.
Good news (but not great)
That means I'll be a non-smoker as from Sunday morning. I said I'd give up the moment Mum got home but I have a birthday party at the pub tomorrow night and I just know as soon as I've had a few I won't care about my promise. So, rather than lie to Mum and set myself up to fail (cos really, who wants to do that?) I'll just quit Sunday**

Finally found 'Breaking Dawn' in Tesco! Yes I have no money, yes I brought it anyway. I don't care how sad this makes me look because I haven't stopped thinking about this damn book since I finished 'Eclipse' and now I have it... oh yes, now I have it!!! *evil laugh for no reason at all except it seems appropriate at the time*
Bad news
Cramps, cramps from hell! I've been in agony several times in the last thirty six hours and even when the painkillers work, its not completely gone. Didn't go delivering yesterday because I couldn't straighten up properly - and therefore was walking like a twit - and I went out this morning but had to make an emergency trip home for shorts (weather's grey but baking) and while I was home the tablets wore off. Now sitting here waiting for fresh batch to take effect so as not to be walking around like the aforementioned twit.
**So expect many irritable lj rants until the cravings release me from their clutches.
