Boo!
Still unemployed and now I'm not happy about it. I wasn't bothered before, as long as I had money in the bank I wasn't too fussed about rushing back into the world of work, but its true what they say about hopes and expectations and stuff. I got all excited (and maybe a little cocky) and now I feel lower than crap.
Oh well, I'll bounce back. And I decided to try out the wonders of retail therapy last night. Normally, my idea of retail therapy is an eight pack from the off license (hey don't knock it, it works until you wake up), but last night I decided to take it to the next level and... brought a television.
It's beautiful, she's all shiny and black and flat-screened. She's lurvely. Only a 22" and I really wanted the 26", but they were out of stock and once I got to the shop there was no way I was turning around and leaving without one.
She has a built-in dvd player and a built in ipod dock! And all the pluggy in bits are on the side so I don't have to crawl around in the dark in a mess of wires to fit up my Playstation. I am very happy with her.
So, I may be unemployed and miserable and depressed, but at least I can be visually and audiably entertained while I'm at it.
Also, Buffy and Angel comics arrived today \o/
