Sundresses and stuff

Okay, so aside from the whole locking-myself-out-of-house-and-home-minus-money-keys-phone-and-looking-a-right-state saga, yesterday was actually quite fun. I went to watch the England match in Leeds with Abby and her friends, and we had a pretty good night. I drank pints and everything, which I *never* do, but ahh well. And on the way back to the bus, I found a £10 note. So my evening out pretty much cost me nothing, which was obviously fantastic!!

Today I've been lazy - slept in, checked my e-mails (still no interview/job offers *sigh*) and watched old episodes of Roswell on TV. I briefly went into town to pick up the new Cosmo and to buy some new cleanser/toner and stuff like that - and on the way back up I saw the prettiest summer dress in a shop window. It's one of those floral-print halter-neck sundresses, and it was ADORABLE, white with blue flowers on. So naturally I had to go in and look at it, even though I have about £30 left in my bank account! It was only £12 though, and it WAS a very pretty dress... they've ordered it in a 14 for me. I doubt it'll fit, dresses and I *always* have issues since I'm different sizes on the top and bottom halves, and have a pretty small waist considering the rest of me, but it's worth a try. It was an incredibly cute dress! And admittedly I have no idea where I'd ever wear it, but... I did really like that dress.

I reeeeeeeeally want a job so I can get some pennies and go shopping. I miss the days during Sixth Form when I used to just go into town and buy whatever and just not worry about the money. (Actually, I did that during Uni this year as well, which probably explains why I get myself into financial situations like this!)

I still haven't unpacked. Given that I got home just under a month ago, this is a whole new low for me!!! Has it really only been a month? God, so much has happened, it's crazy! And yet I still don't have a job, haven't unpacked, haven't done any of the things I've planned... it feels like longer, though. In a good way, I think, because it's nice to be home. By September I'll be totally ready to get back to Uni, though!

Oh, and something really amused me today that I need to mention, but I'll have to post that later since I want to friends-lock it. :)
