I don't know what I've done to Firefox -- or what LJs done -- but I currently seem only able to open things on LJ if I right-click->new tab them. Left clicks do nothing. Computers, dudes.

ETA: Aaaand now it works again, wtf?

Sounds about as frustrating as when the left click starts spontaneously doing 'save page as'.

I get that with firefox sometimes when links point directly at image files, even though firefox can and will display them.

When FF is being contrary, I get that when I click on any link. Like the 'friends page' in the LJ header? Nnngh. On the bright side, it only happens once a couple of months or so.

Just often enough that I forget about it in-between occurrences. Naturally.

Maybe you're running afoul of Firefox's tendency to sometimes randomly update itself without asking?

I love it when I'm irked and don't allow it to restart with an update and in the end it just asplodes on me. (Why, no, I'm not used to running my computers and browsers on and on for days, going on weeks... at all...)

*no-ods* I actually play music during the night (well, almost all the time, when I'm not watching anything) on the 'puter. Quietly, but. Before I had a computer, it was on the radio. But there are ads on the radio, and they're distracting...
