(no subject)
Well, everyone lately seems to be posting for one reason or another. So, why not me?
..
Possibly because nothing interesting has happened to me lately.
Security is going fine. No complaints. I did go down from Badge 32 to Badge 12. And, technically when they reformat badge numbers again in a few months, I'll be Badge 10. So my seniority is catching up.
In February, I did get to witness, as security, a fatal car crash of three teenagers. It was on the news and what-not. It was odd standing outside at the wreckage, five minutes after it happened. The car was completely totaled and their friends were screaming and crying all around the three security guards there. I remember seeing only one unmoving body, with another draped, I later found out, over another. I guess that one, since it was shaking uncontrollably, was the one whom lived for a month before dying as well. It was pretty dramatic.
Otherwise, work is fine. School, .. I'll be heading to Southern in the Fall (I just got my acceptance letter about two weeks ago) to work on my Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Anthropology. Along side that, my brother and I will be moving into an apartment together soon, in New Haven. Or as close to New Haven as we can get, I guess. Who would'a thunk it, eh? Should prove to be .. interesting.
Girl-wise? Negative.
Game-wise? I got Wii Fit recently. Fun as hell. My dad is even into it, so he'll be working out, hopefully. I lost Pokemon Diamond awhile back (yes, the one with over 800 hours played). Bought another but I need Crystal to help me reclaim some Pokemon before I restart. And Darkrai is released at Nintendo events at Toys'R'Us this Saturday and Sunday. Also, SSBB consumes my life. I'll be buying an Elite 360 soon, .. maybe get my Viva Pinata on. And I love Crystal for getting me my R4. Just converted some Naruto openings onto my DS. Oh, and I have Google Maps on it, too.
Connecticon is coming up, though I'm going for only one day, .. and I'm only going because Courtney wanted me to go with her. So how can I say "no"? The real con coming up is Otakon, in August. So far, I believe, it's only me and Crystal in a room. One of the reasons being that we're the only ones that can both afford to go, and the only ones responsible enough to actually pay. That should be fun. I have many ideas of who to cosplay, but unsure, yet.
If I start now, I can try for Ovan from .hack. If I cosplay Ovan, Crystal may cosplay Haseo for a little while, so we match. But his arm will be so crazy to do.
I was also thinking the Digimon Kaizer from Digimon 02. Fun costume, nostalgic, and .. kind of simple. I think I'd get a kick out of it.
Possibly Beat from The World Ends With You. But only if I can get a group going. Courtney wants to be Rhyme, but who knows when she'll do that.
.. Speaking of The World Ends With You. Amazing game for DS. I've been hooked for weeks. Geni doesn't like it due to the music (which I can kind of understand), but it's still great. Check it out if you have a DS.
