My vet visit....
I went to the vet yesterday. Mommy was worried because of the swelling and the sore on my chin.
At first I wanted nothing to do with being in that kitty carrier! But mommy won and Auggie and I were off to the vet.
At the vet I was very curious about the smells and stuff. I ventured out of the carrier right away! The lady came in and weighed me. I weigh 12 lbs 1 ounce. I am a big boy ;)
The vet said my heart sounded good adn everything was good except for my chin *duh* It turns out that I have an allergy and a skin infection there. So Mommy has to get us new dishes to eat out of.
He swabbed my mouth *ouch* and then gave me a bunch of shots. OUCH!!! But mommy said I was a very good boy for it all :)
The vet gave mommy medicine to give me and I HATE IT!!!!! YUCK!!! It's all fruity flavored and gross. Mommy is making me take it twice a day. BLECH!!!
But I do feel better today. I chirped at mommy today and I haven't been able to do that since I got this stupid chin thing! The swelling is down and my skin is starting to heal nice.
I will get mommy to take more pictures of me when I am all healed!
