Happy new year everyone!
As you might have guessed from the serious lack of updates, gazillions of stuff, as well as intense travelling sessions have been keeping my hands occupied for the past month.
I went over to Tokyo to celebrate the New Year's and Koichi's birthday on the 1st of January concert. My friend and I decided to pay a visit to Meiji shrine on the 31st of December right before millions of visitors flooded the temple for hatsumode (first visit to the temple) starting at night. At around 2 in the afternoon, my friend wanted to have a look around Takeshita dori and I spotted one of the ticket reselling shops that the street is notorious for. I went into Gorakudoh out of curiosity to see the price range of the tickets there. The Johnny's countdown corner filled with tickets with astronomical prices was packed with fangirls. I had a look at the KinKi Kids concert corner, and to my utter disbelief, the tickets for the 31st of December concert were dirt cheap! I saw some top floor seats sold at 5,000 yen for one pair! I told my friend about it and we had this impulsive plan of going to the concert that would be starting in a few hours lol. I bought a pair of pretty good seats, the 12th row from the arena seats, for 6,000 yen each. Note that the original price for each ticket is 7,000 yen! I guess not many people would go to the 31st of December concert since the birthday concert was on the next day and end of year is usually spent with family.
I should end the background story here, and what you probably are looking forward to the most, I am working on the concert reports!
Stay tuned! (^_^)
